Vandalus

At the end of 2018, the VANDALUS project was born

With the illusion of occupying a relevant position in the panorama of national Andalusian rock, and humbly, to resume the path of the great bands of the genre in the decades of the 70s and 80s of the last century, with a current approach. In mind, also, to provide one’s own vision of a style that returns to have green shoots and never ceased to exist.

Its members come from bands like SCANDAL, URBE or KATIE KING, from progressive rock to heavy metal, through hard rock with urban rock overtones, psychedelia etc. They decide to let the musical contributions of each one flow, which drink from different sources, inspirations and influences so disparate, in order to result in something more diverse and rich in concept, without premeditating results or shrinking the dynamics of the band when composing and proposing.

Regarding the lyrics, they try to take care of them to the maximum, so as not to fail to take advantage of the opportunity to transmit an interesting content, with background, of varied themes, that makes the public think, that excites them and identifies them.

VANDALUS
They take creative momentum and record their first demo in the studio. In their live shows they offer versions of the most legendary bands of Andalusian rock, presenting a varied show that, apart from showing their own creations, try to transmit and connect, while facilitating and allowing a comprehensive perception of the evolution of the genre to this day.

In 2022 they publish with 5 Lunas Producciones their first album, which they call as the band: “Vándalus”. This self-titled album has been enormously received by music critics and the great legion of followers that the band already has.
