“
DIVERGENCE AND CONVERGENCE”
ONZA was formed in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) in February 1989 and is one of the leading Andalusian bands of progressive rock and the longest and most recognized within the Spanish progressive. They have recorded four studio albums that they published with different and prestigious European record labels specialized in the genre. They are continuators of the Hispanic progressive tradition but with their own style where they fuse jazz, rock, new age and moments of Andalusian rock. The experimentation, evolution and remodeling of compositional concepts and influences of the great bands of the genre are the basis of ONZA’s music. They have always risked in their compositions, they do not follow the orthodox schemes and sounds of progressive, that’s why they are original.
“Divergencia y Convergencia” is the fifth work of the band, where they are daring again. This time they carry a neo-progressive or neo-prog line, as others would say. They try to give another twist to their music with a very updated sound, with new ideas and others that were saved.
“
While lives diverge, people converge”
5 Lunas Producciones bets on them, convinced that they will surprise because ONZA and 5 LUNAS have put the best that each one could contribute. We present “Divergence and Convergence” in two different formats and ecological, in CD digifile with Ref. 5LPCD007 and as a novelty in USB, to adapt to the new playback systems (Smart TV, sound bars, new vehicles, etc.), with Ref. 5LPUSB002.
